I Choose To Be Happy

Recently looking into behavioral psychology and it's links to our personal happiness and healthy habits I have become much more aware of what only can be described as mistakes that prevent us from fully being at peace, rested and most importantly happy.

Your Complexion and You

Searching the room his eyes come to an immediate stop and there she stood, a timid smile illuminating her surroundings, a semi-confident walk that forced her forward and he just sat there watching, for there was nothing else he could do... but admire.

Ending A Chapter

There simply comes a stage when a friendship is better ending than continuing to be dragged out and left in horrible tatters. In all honesty, I feel that me and a friend have reached a stage where our relationship is required to end for the benefits of ourselves.

Your Limit

I once read about how elephants, a creature able to knock over a tree with its head or lift a log with its trunk,  can be restrained by a short length of rope or chain.

Wanders

Ever since I was a little girl I was thrown into the outdoors with a backpack, some hiking boots and a beautiful landscape around me. There, me and my dad would walk miles, just enjoying the views, he would almost always take pictures, which must be where my passion for photography originated from, considering I am SUCH a daddy's girl. However, it was there where we would stand on top of hills, sometimes mountains and take a breath. Now that may sound really weird, but there's something amazing you get when you inhale that fresh air, it just floods your body with everything calming that nature can give you and you feel all your muscles relax.

Do Something You Love

When I was little I was always told
"Choose a job you love and you never have to work a day in your life."
and that stuck with me.

Therefore, when I grew up I aimed to find that one thing which was special to me. A talent which made me unique among the rest, something to set me aside from the people who surrounded me and in all honesty it absolutely terrified me, the thought that I was going to be this person who doesn't have that specialty. In all of my friendship groups we had the cliche of the one you was sporty, the smart one, the creative one and yet I wasn't labelled with a talent. I wasn't anything special.
