Me, Myself and Billy Buskin

In all honesty, I have never found a book that I have fell so deeply in love with before. People had always commented to me about their favourite novels and books and how they were emotionally connected to them, but in all honesty, I have always struggled to find such a connection with the black ink on these harsh pages. Until Giovanna Fletcher's Billy and Me.

I once read this thing which said something along the lines of 'nothing compares to that feeling when you discover a new book and it just consumes your life and you literally want to eat and breathe this book and when it's over you think about it for days and days and the idea of reading a new book repulses you because all you can think about is the flawlessness that was the book that you just read' and in all honesty, that was exactly my reaction to this story. 

I laughed with this book, cried at the story and fell in love with the characters, particularly Billy Buskin. This story is one I absolutely adore and it is definitely one that I would say to be a must-read and I have bought it for a friend for Christmas. Perfect gift.
