There simply comes a stage when a friendship is better ending than continuing to be dragged out and left in horrible tatters. In all honesty, I feel that me and a friend have reached a stage where our relationship is required to end for the benefits of ourselves.
- To be there for the other person
- To support the other person
- To guide the other person in a direction that is beneficial for them
and many more.
- Boyfriends or girlfriends coming before their friends
- Laughing at friends when their at their worse
- Not caring about their friends or what happens to them
just to name a few.
Not only does your friend have responsibilities, but don't forget so do you. You have the responsibility to do the exact same to them, yet you also have the responsibility to look after yourself.
There is only a limit to forgiving and forgetting, but there does come a stage where you need to move on for your own benefit. So, if one of your friendship's is destructive and is bringing you down. Not giving you the best it can. Then I think it's time to say goodbye.
It's better to leave a friendship on a high note, than on one that is not a good memory.
Don't forget to smile, because your life is in your hands and you have the control.
